Research Interests
A well constructed multiple sequence alignment (MSA) captures the relationships between distantly
related proteins. This valuable information can be used to infer function,
structure, and evolution of proteins. My research interest is in Bioinformatics methods for improving MSAs by revising sequence families with alignment scoring approaches.
